Chargeback Policy

This policy explains how Verity Research Labs LLC handles payment disputes, chargebacks, and returned payments. It forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

Contact us first

If there is a problem with an order — a charge you do not recognise, an item that did not arrive, or an item that arrived damaged or incorrect — please contact us before disputing the payment with your bank, card issuer, or payment provider. Most problems are resolved faster by us directly, under our Returns & Refunds Policy. Include your order number so we can find the order.

Cryptocurrency payments

Cryptocurrency payments are final once confirmed on the blockchain and cannot be reversed by us or by the payment provider. Approved refunds for crypto orders are made in US-dollar value, as stated in our Returns & Refunds Policy, to a wallet address you provide in writing.

Card and ACH/e-Check payments

Where we accept card or ACH/e-Check payments, a chargeback or ACH return filed without first contacting us will be reviewed and, where the order was authorised and fulfilled as described, contested. To contest a dispute we may provide the issuing bank or payment processor with records of the order, including the account used to place it, the research-use acknowledgement and acceptance of these terms recorded at checkout, IP address and time of order, and shipping and delivery records.

Unauthorised use

If you believe your account or payment method was used without your permission, contact us immediately. We will investigate, cancel any unshipped order, and work with you and your bank to resolve it.

Consequences of improper disputes

We may suspend or close the account associated with a chargeback or returned payment while it is investigated. Where a dispute is found to be improper — for example, a chargeback filed for an order that was authorised and delivered — we may close the account permanently and decline future orders. Returned ACH payments may be subject to any fees permitted by law.
